After weather delays lasting most of the day, Marco Valcourt of Air Saguenay, flew me by Beaver from Schefferville to Lake Adelaide.

Lake Adelaide is the lake to the right, ahead of the lake we are flying over.  To the left are the two short portages across the height of land between Labrador and Quebec.  Everything to the right flows south and everything to the left flows north to the Arctic.

It was late in the day when we arrived and Marco took care to find me a suitable camping site from the air before landing.

He insisted I autograph his airplane.

Right after this picture was taken, Marco buzzed me after taking off .  It would have been a great picture but I could not get my camera out quickly enough!
